mumfordandsonsblog: Mumford & Sons played a 90-minute game of rugby with the Huddersfield Giants on Friday, June 1st after their GOTR Stopover soundcheck. According to the Giants Business Development Manager Robbie Hunter-Paul, “We arrived at Greenhead Park at 3.30pm and by 3.45 we had launched into a mammoth game of rugby where by the end I was looking for the oxygen mask. We really went for it and ended up wet through with sweat.” “I was really blown away by the talent of the lads as you could obviously see that a couple of them had played a bit of rugby in their time.”
